Plastic Pressure Reducing Valves - Efficient Pressure Regulation for Various Applications

Plastic pressure reducing valves offer an efficient solution for precise pressure regulation in a wide range of applications. Unlike conventional metal valves, these valves are entirely made of high-quality plastic materials. They are known for their versatility and ability to meet specific requirements in demanding environments.

The benefits of plastic pressure reducing valves are diverse. They are corrosion-resistant and exhibit excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, making them ideal for use in chemical plants, industrial processes, and other environments involving aggressive substances. Additionally, they are lightweight, allowing for easy installation and handling.

The choice of the appropriate plastic material for the pressure reducing valve depends on specific requirements. Polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) are some commonly used plastics that can be selected based on the chemical properties of the medium, temperature resistance, and mechanical strength.

Plastic pressure reducing valves not only provide precise pressure regulation but also offer high reliability and durability. They can be employed in a variety of applications, including water treatment systems, chemical industries, food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, and many others.

When selecting a plastic pressure reducing valve, it is crucial to rely on certified products from trusted manufacturers to ensure the highest quality and performance. Additionally, proper installation and regular maintenance are essential to ensure optimal valve functionality.

By utilizing plastic pressure reducing valves, you will obtain an efficient and reliable solution for precise pressure regulation in your applications. Trust in the versatility and quality of plastic valves to ensure optimal performance and safety. Consult with our experts to find and install the best plastic pressure reducing valves for your specific requirements.

Stübbe’s pressure reducing valves are directly controlled by the medium and serve to reduce the primary pressure to the system’s operating pressure and maintain it constant in process engineering systems. However, it should be noted that they are not suitable as equipment with safety functions according to the Pressure Equipment Directive.

Stübbe’s pressure reducing valves are used in a variety of applications, including:

- Chemical plant engineering
- Industrial plant engineering
- Water treatment

Valve function: The open pressure reducing valve is in equilibrium between the inlet pressure (primary pressure) and the lower operating pressure (secondary pressure). When the operating pressure rises or falls above or below the desired value, the large membrane is lifted against the spring force or pressed down by the spring force. As a result, the valve begins to close or open until an equilibrium state is reached. Regardless of whether the inlet pressure rises or falls, the operating pressure remains constant (assuming the inlet pressure is higher than the operating pressure).

Features:

- Pressure adjustment range from 0.5 to 9 bar
- EPDM membrane, PTFE-coated on the medium side
- Control valve for the secure reduction of system pressures to constant operating pressures
- Stable, low-vibration control behavior
- High reproducibility of the set pressure
- Valve adjustment possible under operating pressure

Additional options available on request:

- LABS-free
- Pressure pre-adjustment
- Gauge port
- Sealed
