Indicator of acid vapor separator
Properties
In our technical center we have developed a pH INDICATOR for gaseous acids and alkalis. Upon reaching the pH of 4.6, a color change occurs for acid from BLUE - YELLOW. In the area of the base, the color change from BLUE - WHITE occurs when the pH reaches 9.4. The pH indicator is suitable for gaseous media when used as an INDICATOR CARTRIDGE on the Kwerk acid vapor separator of the series SDA 90, SDA 160, SDA 250 and SDA 315. The saturation of the granules in the acid vapor separator is visually displayed directly by the color change.
APPLICATIONS
- Used in the construction of dosing and storage containers, especially for use in acid and lye fumes in industry, chemical and process engineering
- Adsorption of aggressive gases, here outgassing acid and lye vapors
- Alternative to the use of extraction and exhaust systems in the chemical industry
USE
The indicator cartridge for acid and lye, is on the acid vapor separator of the type series SDA 90, 160, 250 and 315screwed on. After removing the security label, the indicator is ready for immediate use. The cartridge is marked on the corresponding type plate.
