In contrast to conventional Y-type strainers, our strainers feature a larger screen area and higher dirt-holding capacity. This minimizes pressure loss even when dealing with regular contaminant buildup. Flowing fluids can contain particles that may cause blockages and failures in your pipeline system. Our strainers can be installed either at the fluid inlet to specific sections of the system or directly in front of vulnerable equipment components.

Cleaning or replacing the strainer basket is quick and straightforward. By closing the shut-off valves before and after the strainer, flow can be interrupted. Emptying the housing and opening the screw cover allows easy access to the strainer basket. The angled handles make it convenient to open the screw cover manually. The external thread of the housing doesn’t come into contact with the medium, reducing the need for thread cleaning in most cases.
